Scope

What a full remodel covers

  • Design consultation with layout options drawn to your actual measured room, not a template
  • Demolition, debris haul-off, and daily site protection through the rest of the house
  • Framing corrections, blocking, and subfloor repair uncovered during demo
  • Rough plumbing and any supply or drain relocation, permitted and inspected
  • Electrical: dedicated circuits, GFCI protection, exhaust ventilation and layered lighting
  • Full shower or tub waterproofing system, flood-tested before tile goes on
  • Tile, cabinetry, countertops, mirrors, glass and hardware installation
  • Paint, trim, final fixture set, and a walk-through punch list you sign off on
Our approach

How a full remodel runs

Full remodels are sequenced around two fixed points we don't control: the county inspector and the tile cure. We build the calendar backward from those and hold selections deadlines so nothing waits on a back-ordered vanity.

  1. 1Measured walkthrough and layout options, with allowances set per category
  2. 2Selections locked and long-lead items ordered before demo day
  3. 3Demo, framing and rough-in, followed by the rough inspection
  4. 4Waterproofing and flood test, then tile, cure, and grout
  5. 5Cabinetry, tops, glass, fixtures, paint, final inspection and punch list
Why STRYDE

Why homeowners choose the full rebuild

The bad layout is the real problem

Plenty of Triad baths from the 60s through the 80s put a 60-inch tub against the only wall that could hold a real vanity. Refinishing doesn't fix that. Rebuilding lets us move a drain nine inches and give you a double vanity that was never possible before.

You only open the walls once

Once studs are exposed, adding blocking for future grab bars, upsizing the vent fan, or replacing brittle CPVC costs a fraction of doing it later. We show you those options while the wall is open and price them as optional line items.

Single-contract accountability

No coordinating a tile guy against a plumber against a glass company. If the shower pan and the glass don't agree, that's our problem to solve, and it gets solved without a second invoice.
Questions

FAQs about this service

Can I move the toilet or shower to a different wall?

Usually yes, but the deciding factor is the floor structure. On a slab, relocating a toilet means cutting and re-pouring concrete; on a crawlspace or second floor, it means working between joists we're not allowed to notch. We check that during the walkthrough and tell you what the move costs before you fall in love with the layout.

Do I need to move out during a full remodel?

No, as long as you have a second bathroom. We isolate the work zone with zip walls, run air scrubbers during demo, and shut water off only for scheduled windows we tell you about the day before. Single-bath homes are a different conversation and we'll plan around it.

How do you handle allowances so the price doesn't creep?

Your contract lists a dollar allowance per selection category — tile, vanity, tops, fixtures, glass — with real product examples at that number, not fantasy pricing. If you upgrade later, you see the delta in writing before we order.

Bold design. Flawless craftsmanship. Built to last.

Ready to rebuild the whole room?

We'll measure, draw two layout options, and give you an itemized number you can actually compare.
