We handle planned repairs and full replacements with the same discipline: inspect the decking, fix the flashing, and install the right material for the pitch and the climate. No shortcuts that show up as stains on the ceiling three years later.

Our approach

Process note: decking, flashing, and ventilation

The finished surface of a roof is the visible part, but the real work is in what's underneath. We tear off to the decking on replacements, replace anything compromised, and then rebuild the flashing and ventilation before the new shingles or panels go down. Every penetration — pipes, vents, chimneys, skylights — gets its own flashing detail, and every valley gets proper underlayment.

  1. 1Inspect the roof, attic, and interior for active leaks and document damage
  2. 2Quote repair or replacement scope with material options and timeline
  3. 3Tear off in sections, inspect and replace compromised decking
  4. 4Install underlayment, drip edge, flashing, and ventilation details
  5. 5Install shingles or panels, seal penetrations, clean up, and final walkthrough
Why STRYDE

Why homeowners call us for roofing

We treat the whole system, not just the shingles

Most roof leaks are flashing or ventilation issues, not shingle issues. We diagnose the actual failure before we quote, so you don't pay for a new roof when a repair and proper flashing will solve it.

Storm damage is separate from planned replacement

If your roof is actively leaking after a storm, that's a restoration call. For age-related replacement or planned upgrades, we work through the renovation process — scoped, scheduled, and priced as a fixed project.

Material matched to the roof, not the sales pitch

We install asphalt, metal, and low-slope membranes based on your roof pitch, HOA rules, and how long you plan to own the home. The recommendation is driven by the roof, not by a product spiff.
Questions

FAQs about this service

Should I repair or replace my roof?

A single leak at a penetration or a few wind-torn shingles is usually repairable. If your roof is past 75% of its rated life, has multiple leak points, or shows widespread granule loss, cupping, or soft decking, a replacement is the better long-term spend. We'll inspect the decking and ventilation and give you an honest recommendation either way.

Do you handle insurance claims for roof work?

For active storm damage — hail, wind, or fallen trees — our restoration team handles the emergency response and insurance documentation. For age-related replacement or planned upgrades, we provide a fixed-price proposal you can submit to your carrier or fund directly. We can coordinate either path.

What roofing materials do you install?

We install architectural asphalt shingles, luxury shingles, metal panels, and low-slope membranes. The right material depends on your roof pitch, neighborhood covenants, and how long you plan to stay in the home. We don't push one brand; we match the product to the roof.

Will you replace decking and flashing?

Yes. A shingle is only as good as what's underneath. We replace damaged or delaminated plywood/OSB decking, install new drip edge, and replace step and counter flashing at walls and penetrations. Skipping this is how a new roof still leaks.

Bold design. Flawless craftsmanship. Built to last.
