Our story

We started in the hardest room in the house

Bathrooms are unforgiving. They combine plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tile and ventilation in the smallest footprint in the home, and every shortcut shows up eventually — usually as water somewhere it shouldn't be. Building our reputation there set the standard for everything that came after.

Clients who trusted us with a bathroom started asking about the rest of the house. Flooring. Interior and exterior painting. Doors, windows and siding. Electrical work. That demand built our Renovation Services pillar, handled by the same crews and the same standards.

Property managers came next. They needed units turned quickly between tenants — paint, flooring, repairs and punch-list work on a schedule that doesn't slip — which became our Rental Turnovers division.

And because water, mold and storm damage don't keep business hours, we built a 24/7 Restoration arm that handles both the emergency mitigation and the rebuild that follows. Today STRYDE Home is a full-service renovation and restoration company — four pillars, one accountable team.

Fully Insured

STRYDE Home carries general liability and workers' compensation coverage for the work we perform in North Carolina and Virginia. Certificates of insurance are available on request — property managers can have ours on file before the first work order.

EPA Lead-Safe Certified

Homes built before 1978 can contain lead-based paint, and federal rules require certified firms to use lead-safe work practices when disturbing those surfaces. Our certification covers containment, specialized cleanup and verification — which matters on a large share of the older housing stock across the Triad and southern Virginia.

Ask us for certificates of insurance, certifications or references at any point — for a quote, a claim, or a vendor packet. We'd rather you verify than assume.
